Creating a photo story is similar to scrapbook but is more like a book and requires more time. Essentially, photofunia, you take a few photographs from a special time or an event, put them in chronological order, then work with your family to write captions similar to a children’s book that tell the story of the event. New pets, family vacations, or new babies are all excellent candidates for photo effects, and if you frame each picture with construction paper and use that for the captions you can hang them in your house for everyone to see.

If you choose to freelance, you can also take pictures for the internet. There are many websites that offer photo fun, and these stock photos are often offered by people who freelance. You will usually be paid if the website accepts your pictures, or if someone purchases the pictures. Additionally, if you travel someplace, or you live in an area that has a high tourism rate, freelance by taking pictures and selling them to local stores.
